Kings Monkton School, formerly Monkton House and King's College, is a co-educational private day school for boys and girls aged 3–18. It is located in Roath, Cardiff near the city's Mansion House and Cardiff University. The school is owned by the Principal and Vice Principal. Paul Norton has been the school's principal since 2013.
Kings Monkton Sixth Form aids our pupils to ‘become the best you can be’ through Success, Independence, Opportunity. We allow our pupils to focus on areas of study that they love and are truly passionate about. Therefore, we teach a wide range of subjects, such as English, Mathematics, History, Mandarin, Psychology and Criminology.
We have two experienced Additional Learning Needs Coordinators – Mrs Sara Strange and Miss Niamh Brady, Mrs Strange has worked at Kings Monkton for 11 years, recently achieving her Master’s degree in ALN with an Autism and behaviour analysis focus.
