In a nutshell, we, the Irish of Graham Linehan’s generation, to our eternal shame and ongoing ruin, replaced formation by the Catholic Church with formation by the Jews. Graham Linehan is a textbook case of the process. And, with Tough Crowd, he has written the textbook. We Irish are helpful like that.
Graham tells us a about his amazing career in comedy writing and about how it was dramatically halted by entitled men who don't like anyone who stands up for the rights of women. There are lots of great stories, some of which made my laugh and some made me cry. This book is a must for everyone who has ever been a fan of Graham's work (Father Ted, Black Books, The IT Crowd and more).
