9. März 2017 · The Hour Glass were a 1960s rhythm and blues band based in Los Angeles, California between 1967 and 1968. Among their members were two future members of The Allman Brothers Band - Duane Allman and his brother Gregg Allman - and three future studio musicians at the world-renowned Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama - Pete Carr, Johnny Sandlin and Paul Hornsby.
Hour Glass. Very early music from members of the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND will be released on CD for the first time March 27, and vinyl that has been out of print since the late 1960 s will be available as well. In all, four albums will trace three of the band member s nascent music projects including the Allman Joys, Hour Glass and 31st of February.
