    Eva Ekeblad. Eva Ekeblad, born De la Gardie (1724–1786) was a Swedish countess and scientist. Eva Ekeblad. In 1748, she became the first woman to be elected to the Swedish Academy of Sciences. The choice was based on the new ideas of the Enlightenment, where women could publicly appear as intellectual, educated and creative individuals.

He fought in several battles, including the Battle of Gadebusch.
