Juli 2023 · Julius Erving is an NBA champion, two-time ABA champion, NBA Most Valuable Player, three-time ABA MVP, 11-time NBA All-Star, five-time ABA All-Star, Hall-of-Famer and a member of every NBA anniversary team (35th, 50th and 75th). Dr. J is also 73 years old, so he's watched a lot of terrific players over the years.
1. Apr. 2022 · February 22, 1950. 1970: Julius Erving, at age 18, enrolled at the University of Massachusetts in 1968 and became an immediate sensation. In two varsity college basketball seasons, he averaged more than 26 points a game. He became one of only six players to average more than 20 points and 20 rebounds per game in NCAA Men’s Basketball history.

Dr. J finished with career averages of 22.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game in his NBA career.
