Popular reviews. Ambush at Cimarron Pass was the only film directed by Jodie Copelan, and despite having a decent cast to work with, and a potentially tension filled premise, this is unfortunately a rather dull affair. It could have had action galore too, but this being a low budget affair courtesy of Regal Films, there's little of that either.

'Ambush at Cimarron Pass' is a bit of a bore. Even though I don't think it's as bad as one Clint Eastwood reportedly does, I do agree in the sense that this 1958 production is a limp effort at making a western. I found none of the characters to be likeable, not that they're necessarily unlikeable per se, and the events depicted onscreen failed ...

Okt. 2013 · The Movie: Directed in 1958 by Jodie Copelan, Ambush At Cimarron Pass isn't the most famous western ever made but it does have some notoriety if only for the fact that it features a solid supporting role from a young Clint Eastwood (who was supposedly paid a whopping $750.00 for his work on the film and then described it as ‘probably the lousiest western ever made').
