St Edmund Hall (sometimes known as The Hall or informally as Teddy Hall) is a constituent college of the University of Oxford. [4] The college claims to be "the oldest surviving academic society to house and educate undergraduates in any university" and was the last surviving medieval academic hall at the university.

St Edmund Hall aims to accommodate most first-year graduates. The main accommodation site is the attractive St Edmund Hall Graduate Centre in Norham Gardens, close to the University Parks and many University departments.
St Edmunds Hall is easy to miss, just off the High Street on Queens Lane. It is steeped in history, some of which is visible. This includes the ancient church of St Peter in the East, now the college library, and not open to visitors. Sadly, the very old crypt underneath is closed due to its poor condition.
