The action scenes, while built up by nearly the first %80 of the film, are cheaply filmed with lazy CGI blood effects. This is a tried-and-true style plot for an action flick, yet this “Boon” comes off sluggish and unnurtured. Not a terrible film but also not a remarkable one too. Review by johnholmes ★★½.
