3. Juli 2017 · According to a new survey by YouGov, a quarter of Brits think that the 1980s were the best decade for music – beating the 1960s into second place. And it’s all down to the cross-generational appeal of artists like Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson and the Smiths. The 1970s were third, with 16%, and the 1990s came fourth with a pretty measly 12%.
