I think with Laverne and Shirley, I partly have no desire to get back to it because the lead actresses are dead, and something about that is very depressing to me. I’ve been feeling nostalgic over my childhood more often recently, I think because of how pleasant everything always seemed then and how I never felt I’d have to fend for myself.
