Vor einer Stunde · Auf dem Südgipfel steht seit 1901 die 13 m hohe Bismarcksäule zu Ehren von Fürst Otto von Bismarck, der Ehrenbürger der Stadt Görlitz ist. Die erste kleine Gastwirtschaft eröffnete 1844 auf dem Berg. Der größere Nachfolgebau von 1863 brannte 1946 nieder. Erst 1951 entstand die heutige Gipfelbebauung, in die nach der letzten Sanierung 1994 eine Gaststätte und das Burghotel einzog.
