Alison Wonderland was conceived as Alexandra Sholler in 1986.[5][6][7] She experienced childhood in Sydney where she prepared as an old style performer, represent considerable authority in cello.[8][9][10] She proceeded as a cellist with the Sydney Youth Opera and was later a bass guitarist in a couple of nearby non mainstream rock bands.[9][10]
