I first heard Danny Kalb play guitar when he accompanied Judy Collins on one of her early folk albums. But he really caught my ear when he recorded a couple of solo numbers on Elektra Records’ groundbreaking “Blues Project” album, featuring a bunch of the new, young, White acoustic blues performers.
