Rusty Allen was born on March 10, 1944 in Taylor County, Texas, USA. She was an actress, known for Girl Happy (1965), Daughter of the Sun (1962) and The Sexperts: Touched by Temptation (1965). She was previously married to John Thomas Cooper and Al Dobritch.
Born in Monroe, LA and raised in Oakland, CA, Rusty (or Rustee) Allen is best known for replacing Larry Graham on bass for Sly & The Family Stone. Allen played with the group from 1972 to 1975. Allen also played bass for Little Sister, Bobby Womack and Robin Trower, among others.
