I know Jonathan Glazer is a self-proclaimed Kubrick wallet-snatcher but I wasn’t aware of how much inspiration he took for this film. And that soundtrack. Sparsely used, but the intro reminds me so much of how The Shining opening feels like it’s reaching out and pulling you deeper into the mountains and remoteness of the Overlook.
