(No shame to Dascha Polanco. She's also a good actress, I just personally don't feel she delivered to the degree that Brooks did, which again could be writing/directing). But Taystee's story line just way outshone Daya's, and thus if that comparison was meant to be there, it felt like an afterthought. Either way, a lot more could have been with Daya's story arc.
