"Accuser le coup" is a metaphor for receiving a blow, being hit, or receiving a shock, and reacting to it with surprise or otherwise. You can "accuser le coup" of a difficult economic situation, a scornful remark, a job loss, etc.

The expression premier coup de bêche is used to refer to the ceremony taking place when the construction of a new building starts. In your context, I am not really sure of what it means. J.

It may be a good wine that particularly appealed to you, but not necessarily a top choice with respect to the usual canons. It also works for a book that may not be the greatest example of literature, but touched you personally.
