Recently saw this for sale online, does anyone know if it's genuine? The back says "Kriegsmarine", "U 1228", and "Friedrich Wilhelm Marlenleld". I couldn't find anything similar elsewhere. Friedrich Wilhelm Marlenleld was the commander for that specific u-boat which might count for something.
