Soon after INEOS Phenol started producing Phenol in Gladbeck, Germany in 1954, our process delivered a purity of 99.7%. Today, we meet the quality requirements of the most demanding producers with purity of our Phenol in excess of 99.99% without water.
At INEOS Phenol we produce two main products: Phenol and Acetone. We also produce Cumene and Alphamethylstyrene. These basic chemicals make a significant contribution to improving health and changing standards of living for the better for people around the globe.

We employ around 600 people across five sites, located at: Antwerp (Belgium), Gladbeck (Germany), Marl (Germany), Mobile, Alabama (USA) and Pasadena, Texas (USA).
