Donny Paulson. Ted Collins. Chameleon was an American rock band active from the late 1970s through the early 1980s . It was founded by Charlie Adams. Chameleon made Billboard charts and was renowned for Adams’ two-axis revolving, upside-down drum set, which he played in live concerts and on MTV.

Chameleon biography In 1969 while still in high school, brothers Rick and Mike HUEY ~ bass and drums respectively ~ got together with their buddy guitarist/singer Spencer CLARK to form EVOLEPOH, a not-yet-progressive garage band based in Houston, Texas. During their peak in the ‘80s, they scored a sponsorship from Miller Brewing Company and played roughly 250 one-nighter shows in 15 Midwestern states and Canada.
