Britannia Royal Naval College ( BRNC ), is the naval academy of the United Kingdom and the initial officer training establishment of the Royal Navy. It is located on a hill overlooking the port of Dartmouth, Devon, England. Royal Naval officer training has taken place in Dartmouth since 1863.
From 1903 to 1921, part of the estate around the stables was used as a junior officer training college for the Royal Navy, known as the Royal Naval College, Osborne. Another section of the house was used as a convalescent home for officers. In 1933, many of the temporary buildings at Osborne were demolished.

In 1903 part of the estate around the stables at Osborne was developed as a college for naval cadets. Building began in March 1903 to the designs of Henry Hawks of the Office of Works, and the Royal Naval College Osborne was formally opened by Edward VII the following August.
