The Flirtations were a pro- LGBT, male a cappella musical group active from 1988 to 1997. The original members were Jon Arterton, Michael Callen, Aurelio Font, TJ Myers, and Cliff Townsend. On the Out On the Road album they were joined by Jimmy Rutland.

Our Conductor. Jon Arterton moved to the St. Petersburg area. in January 2016. He began his musical journey as a. choirboy at Washington DC's National Cathedral. He holds a Master's Degree in Choral Conducting. from The New England Conservatory of Music in. Boston and was twice a Vocal Fellow at the. Tanglewood Music Festival. He also holds an MFA.
Cliff Townsend left in Feb 1995 and Aurelio Font in June, leaving Jon Arterton and Jimmy Rutland. In that Spring both Steve Langley and Suede began subbing, with Steve bowing out in Sept 1995. The trio version remained until mid-1997.
Jon Arterton is a singer-conductor-vocal arranger-actor who began his musical journey as a choirboy at Washington’s National Cathedral. He holds a Master’s Degree in choral conducting and voice from The New England Conservatory of Music.
The Outer Cape Chorale was founded in 2002 by Jon Arterton and a dedicated group of supporters. Our first performance was May 4, 2002, with 72 singers and 4 instrumentalists. The performance was so well received that an encore performance was held on June 1, 2002.
