Three Crowns of the Sailor ( French: Les trois couronnes du matelot) is a 1983 French fabulist film with surrealist and oneiric flourishes written and directed by Chilean director Raúl Ruiz. [1] Plot. The film opens in black and white with the motiveless murder of a professor by his student in Warsaw in 1958.
