Dean Buffalini (born February 23, 1964), known professionally as Dusty Drake, is an American country music artist. Drake played various venues in his native Pennsylvania for several years before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, co-writing a 1996 single for Joe Diffie.
Dusty Drake is the debut studio album by American country music artist Dusty Drake. It is also his only studio album, having been released in 2003 via Warner Records Nashville. "And Then", "One Last Time", and "Smaller Pieces" were all released as singles.

The song is a memorial to the passengers who died in the 9/11 plane crashes.Lyrically, it is framed as a cell phone conversation between a man who is a passenger on one of the planes and his wife.
In a review of Drake's album, Billboardwriter Ray Waddell called the song "a powerhouse weeper with a heartrending twist".
