In January 2013 the band announced they had recruited Ollie Baxxter as their new lead vocalist. In October they released a music video for "Storyteller", followed by a video for their original holiday-themed "Wish List" in December.

Aug. 2022 · A couple of weeks ago I connected with the lead vocalist of Broadside, Ollie Baxxter, to discuss the band’s latest single called ”One Last Time,” the lessons the band has learned from the previous records (including the great, and anthemic Into The Raging Sea ), as well as some of Baxxter’s unique musical influences that he brings into Broadside.
Frontmann Ollie Baxxter fügt hinzu: „All of the songs are separate stories in this one place. They’re open for interpretation, but there’s a song for every type of person.“ Auch die zuletzt veröffentlichten Singles „Bang“, „Cruel“ und „One Last Time“ finden sich auf dem Langspieler wieder.
Richmond, Virginia pop-punk band Broadside deliver punchy tunes similar to Real Friends, Roam, and State Champs. Formed in 2010, the band issued its debut EP, Far from Home, in 2011. The following year, new vocalist Ollie Baxxter was recruited, joining guitarists/vocalists Niles Gregory and Dorian Enrique Cooke and bassist Josh Glupker.
