The Spinners (American group) The Spinners are an American rhythm and blues vocal group that formed in Ferndale, Michigan, in 1954.
Their first TV appearance was in 1960 and they also had their own BBC1 show in the 1960s that ran for many years. They have guested with Nana Mouskouri, Morecambe & Wise and Harry Secombe among others. Not to be confused with the legendary Motown soul group Spinners (aka The Detroit Spinners).
