Born in Oxford on 30th March 1944, Danny Finn (real name Kevin Finn) was a member of the New Seekers from 1976 to 1978. He'd previously worked with Marty Kristian and Paul Layton of the New Seekers in the trio Marty, Paul and Danny, whilst simultaneously having success in Germany with the group Wishful Thinking.
Eve Graham und Danny Finn stiegen 1978 aus und heirateten. Nach mehreren Umbesetzungen zwischen 1978 und 2002 ist nur noch Paul Layton aus der Urbesetzung dabei. The New Seekers treten noch heute auf Oldiefestivals auf. 2009 feierten sie mit einer großen Tournee ihr 40-jähriges Jubiläum.
The New Seekers re-formed in April 1976 with a new line-up. Danny Finn replaced Peter Oliver and Kathy Ann Rae took over from Lyn Paul. Although this line-up scored three Top 50 hits in the UK, the "new" New Seekers never matched the success of the previous line-ups with Lyn Paul, Peter Doyle and Peter Oliver.
