Richard Shindell (born August 3, 1960) is an American folk singer, songwriter, producer, and musician. Shindell grew up in Port Washington, New York, and now lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with his wife, Lila Caimari, a university professor, and their children.
Lori McKenna: "Pieces Of Me" (2001) CD Review Album features excellent songwriting and Lori's strong and always interesting voice. The album opens with "Mars," which is a beautiful song (apart from the pointless cymbals at the very beginning).

Courier is the first live recording and sixth album by Richard Shindell. It includes many of his most popular originals from previous recordings, a cover of Lowell George 's classic song, "Willin'", and what has been described as a "near-holy reading" of Bruce Springsteen 's " Fourth of July, Asbury Park ".
Pieces of Me is the second album by singer-songwriter Lori McKenna. The album received favorable reviews. She is supported on the album by a number of Boston area musicians. The bass playing of Mike Rivard and drumming of Billy Beard are particularly noteworthy.
Good band, too, with featured guests Kris Delmhorst and Richard Shindell.
