Tulse Hill School was the first secondary school in the 1980s to offer an examinable CSE course in Black History. It was a Mode 2 CSE course examined by the Middlesex Board, and which later became the London Regional Examining Board.
The inspection at St Martin-in-the-Fields High School for Girls, Tulse Hill, was announced on Monday, despite plans being in place for it to shut.
We are a coeducational school and sixth form located in Tulse Hill. We pride ourselves on good, consistent teaching and prepare our children for the challenges of life in the 21st century.

A photograph of the former school building on Tulse Hill, opened in 1956 and demolished in the 1990s. The school had a roll of 1850 boys, including Ken Livingstone, and was said to be the highest school in London.
The most prominent survival of 19th century Tulse Hill is Berry House, later called Silwood Hall, and now forming the front part of St Martin-In-The-Fields High School for Girls, a Church of England secondary school which has outlasted the nearby 1950s schools.
