Apr. 2012 · Als Frankie Lymon 1957 zum Solo-Star aufgebaut wurde machten die Teenagers alleine weiter, wofür sie sich Billy Lobrano als neuen Lead-Sänger holten. 1961 wurden bei COLUMBIA auch einige Aufnahmen mit Joe "Joey" Negroni als Lead-Sänger eingespielt, veröffentlicht wurde jedoch lediglich eine einzige Single dieser Session.
Billy Lobrano passed away on April 19, 2007. Starting in 1980, Jimmy Merchant and Herman Santiago kept a Teenagers group going, but for a long while the magic was gone. When this article was originally written (March 1995), some of the old magic had returned.
