Nowhere is this more evident than on the band's 2003 release, Reconstruction Site . Take the fifth track on this album, one of their most popular tracks and a fan favourite, "Plea from a Cat Named Virtute".
Though this sound formed early on in their previous releases Left and Leaving and Fallow, Reconstruction Site finds The Weakerthans in full bloom with a set of 14 brilliantly written and produced songs.
