Alain Jacquet (Alain Georges Frank Jacquet) wurde am 22. Februar 1939 in Neuilly- sur-Seine (Frankreich) geboren und verstarb am 4. September 2008 in New York. Er studierte Theater an der Universität Grenoble und später Architektur an der École Nationale des Beaux- Arts in Paris (bis 1960).
