Brian Marsella (piano) Kenny Wollesen (drums) TD (bass) Zorn put this trio together originally for the Book of Angels, then we started doing the Bagatelles that, for a while, was a “live only” book of music. In the meantime, this release is inspired by the Tarot.

An uncommon fresh set of songs, The Hierophant (2019), a nine track release, is at mid distance from John Zorn´s usually iconoclastic works. Its concept is based on 9 of the Tarot´s deck major arcana figures.
