Idrees Sulieman (August 7, 1923 – July 23, 2002) [1] was an American bop and hard bop trumpeter. [2] Biography. He was born Leonard Graham in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States, [3] later changing his name to Idrees Sulieman, after converting to Islam. [4] .
Idrees Dawud ibn Sulieman, eigentlich Leonard Graham (* 27. August 1923 in Saint Petersburg, Florida; † 23. Juli 2002 in Saint Petersburg, Florida) war ein US-amerikanischer Jazztrompeter und Flügelhornist. Seinen Namen änderte er nach der Konversion zum Islam.
