Andy Metcalfe (born 3 March 1956, Bristol, England) is an English bassist, keyboardist, and producer, who played mainly with The Soft Boys (with Robyn Hitchcock, 1976–1979), Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians (1984–1994), and with Squeeze off and on during the period 1985–1994.
Andy has been teaching guitar and bass since 2008, based for several years in London’s Denmark Street, before moving to Exeter.

Andy Metcalfe. Andy is a Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedics at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit and consultant orthopaedic surgeon at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where he specialises in knee surgery, including sports injuries, knee arthritis and the patello-femoral joint.
