Zolar X is an American band founded in 1973. They are referred to as "Los Angeles' first glam rock band" in the 1998 book Glam by Barney Hoskyns. The band became known on the LA club scene for dressing and acting like space aliens, including speaking a language of their own invention.
5. Nov. 2023 · Zatovian exited Zolar X in 1975, soon followed by Flash. With new bassist Ufoian Ufar (Tom Lee) and drummer Romm Eclipse (Ron Eismann), the reconfigured quartet traveled to Memphis' famed Ardent Studios to record a second demo, but with punk and disco now the rage, the glam era was officially over.
