David Victor is a professor of innovation and public policy at UC San Diego and a co-director of the Deep Decarbonization Initiative. He is also an author, an IPCC lead author, and a member of the World Economic Forum and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
David Victor is the Center for Global Transformation Endowed Chair in Innovation and Public Policy at GPS and director of ILAR. He also leads the UC San Diego Deep Decarbonization Initiative. His research focuses on highly regulated industries, such as electric power and how regulation affects the operation of major energy markets.
