DuBrow formierte die Band 1993 neu mit Gitarrist Carlos Cavazo, Schlagzeuger Frankie Banali und dem neuen Bassisten Kenny Hillery und nahm das Album Terrified auf. Das Album konnte nicht an frühere Erfolge anknüpfen, trotzdem veröffentlichten Quiet Riot bereits im Jahr darauf ein weiteres Album unter dem Titel Down to the Bone .
Former bassist Kenny Hillery, who had left the group in 1994, committed suicide on June 5, 1996. Rudy Sarzo rejoined the band again in January 1997, reuniting the Metal Health lineup. During a tour that year, one angry fan sued DuBrow for injuries she claimed were sustained during a show.
12. Jan. 2024 · DuBrow could not and would not give up on Quiet Riot. It had been his life for 15 years. So in 1990 he re-launched the band with Cavazo, ex-Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli and bassist Kenny Hillery. And in 1993 he reached out to Frankie Banali.
They were joined by bassist Kenny Hillery and drummer Pat Ashby… the band was later renamed Quiet Riot once again upon the return of Cavazo in June 1991. Ashby was soon replaced by Bobby Rondinelli , who performed on part of the 1993 release Terrified , before Banali returned to complete the album.
