Hart is known as one of the world's foremost practitioners of country blues. He is also known as a faithful torchbearer for 1960s and 1970s guitar rock, as well as western swing and traditional country. His style has been compared to Lead Belly and Spade Cooley. Bluesman Taj Mahal once said about Hart: "The boy has got thunder in his hands."

Come On in This House is an album by the American musician Junior Wells. [2] [3] Released in 1996, it was Wells's final studio album. [4] . He supported it with a North American tour. [5] The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Traditional Blues Album". [6] . It won the W. C. Handy Award for best Traditional Blues Album. [7] Production
The success of that album took Alvin on a whirl of touring and five nominations for WC Handy Blues Awards. Soon afterwards, Alvin appeared on Junior Wells ‘ album ‘Come on in My House’.
11. Juni 2018 · The sessions resulted in the 1996 release of Come on in This House, produced by John Snyder on the Telare label. For the album, Hart performed on both 12 – string dobro and National steel guitar.
He sings, plays harmonica, and inspires the best from an array of guest guitar soloists—Tab Benoit, Corey Harris, Alvin “Youngblood” Hart, Sonny Landreth, Bob Margolin, John Mooney, Derek Trucks—with a rhythm section comprising of drummer Herman Ernest III, pianist Jon Cleary and bassist Bob Sunda.
