Feb. 2007 · The middle section is the reason for buying the CD, a tremendous selection of Rodgers and Hart songs where Bennett is accompanied by the splendid jazz trumpeter Ruby Bragg and the George Barnes Quartet. Here Bennett swings beautifully whilst managing to be faithful to the tunes, not easy for everyone.

When I was 17 George Barnes died of a sudden heart attack. He was 56.
