Jan. 2022 · When Starsailor officially formed as a four-piece in 2000, after the two Jameses were joined by keyboardist Barry Westhead and drummer Ben Byrne, fellow-students on the music course at Wigan And Leigh College’s Parsons Walk Campus, their own sound fell into place. “We stopped trying to write big songs to please the crowd,” Walsh says.
