Lebenslauf von Vincenzo Galilei. Vincenzo Galilei war zunächst Lauten- und Violinspieler und kam um 1540 nach Florenz. Auf Anraten von Giuseppe de Bardi, dem sein Lautenspiel ausnehmend gut gefiel, wurde er um 1560 Schüler von Gioseffo Zarlino in Venedig und vervollständigte seine Ausbildung bei Girolamo Mei in Rom.
