1953. Closed. 1995. Our Lady Queen of Angels Seminary (OLQA) was the Junior or Minor Seminary for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles from its founding in 1953 until its closure in 1995. It was located in Mission Hills, California, adjacent to Mission San Fernando Rey de España.

I graduated and then moved on to my seminary formation at St. John’s Seminary College in Camarillo. During that period of time, I felt that God was calling me to serve Him as a missionary. So in the summer of 1992, I joined the Divine Word Missionaries and became attached to their Chicago Province.

The title of "Our Lady Queen of Angels" refers to Mary's place of honor with her Son in the Kingdom of Heaven where Christ is King and Mary is Queen Mother. It is a place of honor because she is placed over the wonderful creatures of God called angels who serve as God's messengers and as guardians for individuals.
