The Gun Club war eine US-amerikanische Rockband, die 1980 von dem Blondie -Fan Jeffrey Lee Pierce und Brian Tristan alias Kid Congo Powers zuerst unter dem Namen Creeping Ritual in Los Angeles gegründet wurde. Pierce rief die Gruppe ursprünglich nur ins Leben, um seinem Freund Powers die Möglichkeit zu geben, in einer Band zu spielen.
The Gun Club were an American post-punk band from Los Angeles that existed from 1979 to 1996. Created and led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Jeffrey Lee Pierce, they were notable as one of the first bands in the punk rock subculture to incorporate influences from blues, rockabilly, and country music.
