Peter Andrew Willis (born 16 February 1960) is an English guitarist, best known as a founder member of the hard rock band Def Leppard. He was with Def Leppard from 1977 to 1982, when he was fired from the band and replaced by Phil Collen due to drinking problems.

Producer Mutt Lange had relied on Willis for his Malcolm Young-like ability to play on the beat. But on a personal level, there was a disconnect between Willis and the rest of the band.
Pete Willis co-founded Def Leppard in 1977 and played on their first album, but was sacked in 1982 due to his drinking problem. He will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2019 with the band and has a 60th birthday today.
