Alan White war ein britischer Schlagzeuger. Am bekanntesten war er durch seine Mitgliedschaft bei der Progressive-Rock-Band Yes. Er spielte zudem als Studiomusiker auf einigen Alben bekannter Rockinterpreten wie John Lennon, George Harrison, Joe Cocker, Ginger Baker und The Ventures.

26. Mai 2022 · Alan White, the drummer with seminal prog-rock band Yes, has died. The 72-year-old, who was born in Pelton, County Durham, died peacefully at his home in the US after a short illness.
In addition to Rabin himself on guitars and lead vocals (among several other things), Can't Look Away also features another Yes member in Alan White on drums (on some tracks). The album will appeal to anyone who enjoys the Yes albums that Rabin played on, and in my opinion this album is actually better than both 90125 and Big Generator!
