The Netherlands Film Academy trains students to become specialists in the film industry. Collaboration between these specialists is a particular characteristic both of the industry itself and of the teaching at the academy.

The Netherlands Film Academy (Dutch: Nederlandse Filmacademie) (NFA) was founded in 1958. The academy is the only recognised institute in the Netherlands that offers training to prepare for the work in the various crew disciplines.
De Nederlandse Filmacademie, meestal aangeduid als "de filmacademie" (en door studenten als "de academie"), is gevestigd in Amsterdam aan het Mr. Visserplein. De Filmacademie is een faculteit van de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (AHK).
