Leben. Aufgewachsen im Orange County ( Kalifornien ), begann Warnes’ Karriere bereits in ihrer Kindheit. 1967 trat sie in einer Fernsehserie erstmals als Pop -Sängerin auf. Bald danach spielte sie in Los Angeles eine Hauptrolle in dem Musical Hair. Bert Sommer schrieb für sie sein Lied Jennifer, nachdem er sie bei Hair kennengelernt hatte.
Her 1976 Jennifer Warnes album included her first major hit, “Right Time Of The Night,” which went to #6 on the Billboard pop chart, #17 country, and #1 adult contemporary. Her 1979 album Shot Through The Heart saw her producing herself for the first time, and another big hit, “I Know A Heartache When I See One.” Once again, it hit the Top 20 in pop, country and adult contemporary.
He recorded it on his most ambitious album, Keepin’ Time by the River, released in 1998. Grammy Award winner Jennifer Warnes and bagpiper Richard Cook joined Chuck for this gorgeous rendition of Jane’s song. listen to. Chuck Pyle.
