Silver Lining is an album by the American musician Nils Lofgren, released in 1991. The album peaked at No. 153 on the Billboard 200. "Valentine", featuring harmony vocals by Bruce Springsteen, was the album's first single.
Nils Hilmer Lofgren (born June 21, 1951) [1] is an American rock musician, recording artist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Along with his work as a solo artist, he has been a member of Bruce Springsteen 's E Street Band since 1984, a member of Crazy Horse, and founder/frontman of the band Grin.
Nils Hilmer Lofgren (* 21. Juni 1951 in Chicago, Illinois) ist ein US-amerikanischer Rockgitarrist, Sänger und Komponist. The album was produced by Kevin McCormick and Lofgren, and recorded at Ocean Way Studios, in Los Angeles. Lofgren chose to add elements of soul and blues to his rock sound. "Valentine", featuring harmony vocals by Bruce Springsteen, was the album's first single. Clarence Clemons also contributed to Silver Lining on "Little Bit O' Time".
