Floyd Cramer (* 27. Oktober 1933 in Samti, in der Nähe von Shreveport, Louisiana; † 31. Dezember 1997 in Nashville, Tennessee) war ein US-amerikanischer Pianist und als Komponist ein Vertreter der Country-Musik .
She Understands Me presents a wide range of music, with a leaning towards the Nashville country sound, and features, among others, the inimitable piano stylings of Floyd Cramer, Grady Martin on guitar and Elvis Presley's old background vocal pals The Jordanaires.
Floyd Cramer (October 27, 1933 – December 31, 1997) was an American pianist who became famous for his use of melodic "whole-step" attacks. He was inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame [1] and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
His biggest success came with his sixth single, the up-tempo "Poetry in Motion", written by Paul Kaufman and Mike Anthony, and recorded in Nashville with session musicians including saxophonist Boots Randolph and pianist Floyd Cramer.
